FAQ

Can I apply for bail for an assault charge?
Yes. Bail depends on risk factors such as previous history and contact with the complainant. Our bail specialists can present your application and propose suitable conditions.

Do I need legal advice before a police interview?
Yes. Early advice protects your position and ensures you do not make statements that may harm your case.

Will my assault case be heard in the Crown Court?
ABH and GBH cases may be sent to the Crown Court depending on the level of injury and circumstances. We advise you on venue and procedure from the outset.

What if I deny the allegation?
We review the evidence, identify weaknesses in the case, and take steps to gather material that supports your version of events.
